Pfizer is committed to saving, improving and enhancing lives and believes that having regular health checks plays an essential role in that vision. With this in mind, Pfizer has an in-house Team of nurses who conduct Health Screening in primary and secondary care nationally.The main area of screening is in Cardiovascular care. Patients attend a clinic where their cholesterol, blood pressure and BMI are measured. Patients are given lifestyle advice on how best to improve their health; this includes nutritional and activity information. Should the patient have elevated glucose, cholesterol and/or BP he/she is referred to their GP, who in turn will decide on the most suitable treatment.
